Stockholm — Fenny today publishes its annual report on the Nordic commercial video market. The report covers budgets, formats, channels, in-house vs. agency economics and AI adoption — based on first-hand data from over 200 productions.
Headline findings.
Median commercial production budgets stayed flat year-over-year in nominal terms but fell 4-7% in real terms. AI is adopted in 60% of productions for at least one task — most often script ideation or rough cut — but only 8% report material time savings. In-house teams now produce 38% of total volume by count, up from 31% in 2024.
