A memorial film differs from a full life story in ambition rather than care. The life story documents; the memorial film distils. It is made to be watched in one sitting, by a room full of people, at a specific occasion.
In practice we work from what already exists — photographs, older film, letters — and add one or more filmed interviews to give the material a voice. The edit gives it a beginning, a turn and an ending.

Frequently asked questions
How far in advance should we book?
Four to eight weeks is comfortable. Shorter lead times are sometimes possible but limit interviews and archive work.
Can you use old photographs and video?
Yes. We digitise, clean up and integrate photographs, film and documents into the edit.
Can the film be shown at a venue?
Yes. We deliver a screening-ready file and can advise on format and sound at the venue.
What does a memorial film cost?
From SEK 35,000 for a short film. Extended films with several interviews and archive work are SEK 55,000–95,000.
Can it be made if the person has died?
Yes. We then build the film from archive material and interviews with those who knew them.
