How long does a filmed life story take to produce?
The timeline has four phases: planning, recording, editing and review. Smaller formats with a single interview and no archive material can be finished in four weeks. Larger family legacies with multiple interviews and gathered material take two months or more.
We match the pace to the person being interviewed — rushing a life story is never a good idea. In health situations where time is short, we prioritise and can start recording within a week.
The person being interviewed always reviews the material before delivery.
